Cancellation policy

Monthly Subscriptions

Your first payment is collected when you subscribe. Future payments automatically renew on the 25th of each month until canceled, at the price and applicable charges disclosed before purchase. 

Each payment covers one monthly edition. Cancel, pause, or skip through your subscription-management link or customer account. Complete the change before the 25th and no later than 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time on the 24th to avoid the next charge.

Cancellation stops future renewals. A skip applies to the selected cycle, after which billing resumes unless paused or canceled.

Canceling after a charge does not refund the paid order. See our Refund Policy for details and applicable exceptions.

Prepaid Year Snail Mail

One upfront payment covers 12 monthly editions. There are no monthly charges and no automatic renewal. You do not need to cancel to prevent renewal.

The 2027 annual offer closes January 25, 2027. First and final editions follow the dates disclosed in the product listing and confirmation. Cancellation requests are handled under our Refund Policy.

Pen-Pal Availability

If a suitable match is unavailable, we will discuss pausing, canceling, or switching to regular snail mail while waitlisted. Any change requires your agreement, with appropriate billing adjustments.
